Frequently Asked Questions / F.A.Q
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about our modules and licenses
Account & sign-in
How do I sign up?
Click “Log in” in the header, then “Create one”. You need a name, an email and a password of at least 8 characters. There is no email confirmation — you land in your account right away.
If you start a purchase without signing in, we will ask you to sign in or sign up and bring you back to the order.
Copy link to this questionI forgot my password. What should I do?
On the sign-in page, click “Forgot password?” and enter your account email. We will send a link that is valid for 60 minutes. No email — check your spam folder; the link expired — request a new one.
Copy link to this questionHow do I change my email, password or name?
In your account, under “Profile”. Your Telegram contact and the language of emails are there too.
To change the password you need the current one. After the change, all your other devices are signed out — a safeguard in case someone learned the password.
Copy link to this questionWhy is sign-in temporarily unavailable?
After several failed attempts in a row, sign-in for that email closes for a short while — this protects the account from password guessing. Wait a minute and try again, or reset the password via “Forgot password?”.
Copy link to this questionHow do I turn on two-factor protection?
In your account, under “Profile”: scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Aegis and similar) and enter the code it shows. From then on, signing in needs a six-digit code from the app as well as the password — even with your password, nobody gets in.

Copy link to this questionHow do I pay for an order?
With cryptocurrency: USDT, Bitcoin, Gram (Бывш. Toncoin). You can view prices on the site in rubles, dollars or euros — the switch is in the header.
An invoice is valid for 30 minutes, and the rate is fixed for that time. Payment is confirmed automatically as soon as the transfer appears on the network — the module lands in your account right away. If none of the methods suits you, write to us on Telegram and we’ll find an option.
Copy link to this questionWhere do I enter a promo code?
On the order page, in the “Promo code” field — the discount shows in the total right away. A promo code applies to buying a module; it does not apply to the extra payment for upgrading to a higher plan.
A code may have an expiry date, a usage limit and a list of modules. If it does not fit, the reason appears under the field.
Copy link to this questionI didn't pay the invoice in time. What now?
An invoice is valid for 30 minutes. After that it closes and the order is cancelled — place it again on the module page, and the amount is recalculated at the current rate.
If the transfer has already been sent, the money is not lost: write to us on Telegram with the order number and we will credit it manually.
Copy link to this questionI sent the wrong amount or used the wrong network. What happens?
Send the amount from the invoice exactly, to the last digit: that is how we recognise your payment. A very small shortfall is accepted automatically; if more is missing, the order will not open by itself — write to us. Overpaying is fine: the order is paid, and we settle the difference manually.
A transfer on another network will not reach us — check the network stated in the invoice. If you made a mistake, write to us on Telegram right away.
Copy link to this questionIn which currency is the order price fixed?
In the one you placed the order in: the amount in rubles, dollars or euros is stored with the order. The crypto amount and the rate are fixed for 30 minutes — while the invoice is valid. The currency switch in the header does not change an order already placed.
Copy link to this questionWhere can I see my orders and their status?
In your account, under “Orders”: purchases, upgrades and their status — awaiting payment, paid or cancelled. We do not send separate payment emails: a paid module appears in “My modules” right away.
Copy link to this questionIs it possible to get a refund after purchase?
Since modules are digital goods, refunds are not possible.
Exception: if the module does not match the description or does not work, and the issue cannot be resolved on our side.

How many sites can one license be used on?
A license is tied to sites, and a site means the whole domain: a license for site.com also works on www.site.com, shop.site.com, dev.site.com and any other subdomain. Only a different domain takes a slot. How many you can connect depends on the plan:
- Standard — 3 sites
- Extended — 10 sites
- Premium — unlimited number of sites
Local addresses — localhost, domains in the .test and .local zones, internal IPs — don't take a slot at all.
Copy link to this questionDo I need a separate license for a subdomain?
No. A license covers the whole domain — *.site.com: the main site, www., shop., forum., dev. and any other subdomain run on one license and take one slot. A separate slot is only needed for a different domain, such as site.net.
Copy link to this questionHow is a module tied to a site?
Your first live site connects on its own — the first time the module runs with your key — and we email you right away. Any further sites you add in your account.
If someone tries to use your key on a site that isn't in the license, the module won't work there and a request appears in your account. Press “Not me” — we’ll issue a new key and the old one will stop working.
Copy link to this questionCan I move a module to another domain?
Yes. Disconnect the old site in your account and add the new one. The freed slot comes back after 24 hours — so a key can't wander between other people's sites. Your plan, terms and other connected sites stay as they are.
Copy link to this questionWhat happens when the license period ends?
The module keeps working on your connected sites — how long it runs isn't limited. When the plan period ends, only downloads and new versions close. Updates by plan:
- Standard — no updates
- Extended — updates 12 months
- Premium — updates forever
Time-limited updates can be renewed — for 50% of the current plan price, in advance or within 30 days after the period ends. If you don't renew in time, the plan is bought anew at the current price.
Copy link to this questionHow do I renew updates?
In your account, on the module page — the «Renew» button. Renewal costs 50% of the current plan price and adds one more period of updates and downloads.
You can renew in advance: remaining days are not lost, the new period is added to the end of the current one. We send an email reminder 30, 7 and 1 day before the period ends, and after it ends you can still renew within 30 days.
A plan with lifetime updates needs no renewal. A plan without updates is not renewed — you can upgrade from it to a higher one.
Copy link to this questionCan I upgrade to a higher plan?
Yes. What you paid for your current plan is credited, you pay the rest, and your key and connected sites stay the same. The upgrade button is in your account, on the module page.
In the first 30 days after purchase the full amount is credited — you pay the plain price difference. Later, the unused share of the update period is credited, but no less than 50% of what you paid. The exact amount is shown before payment.
If the license period has ended and can no longer be renewed, the plan is bought anew at the full price.
Copy link to this questionLicenses weren't tied to a domain before. What has changed?
For you, almost nothing: your account, purchased modules and licenses stay in place, and you work with them as before. Only one thing is new — a license is now tied to site addresses. The first site connects on its own; add the rest in your account.
This is about control: a key can't spread to other people's sites, the code isn't distributed without a license, and any misuse is visible at once — to us and to you.
Copy link to this questionCan I install a module on my clients’ sites?
Yes — as long as the license for the client’s site is bought on dlemod.com. There are two ways: the client’s site takes a slot in your license, or the client buys a license from us directly. Reselling the module to a client, handing over the archive or key as a separate product, or buying licenses elsewhere is not allowed.
Details — in the agreement, section 3.
Copy link to this questionWhat if my key falls into the wrong hands?
Issue a new key in your account — the “Issue a new key” button on the module page. The old one stops working immediately, while your plan, terms and connected sites stay: just enter the new key in the module settings on your sites.
Copy link to this questionDownloads & updates
Where do I download the module and the license key?
In your account, under “My modules”: the key, the latest version’s archive and the changelog are there. The module appears right after payment — no need to wait for a link by email.
Downloads stay open for the whole license period, which depends on the plan.
Copy link to this questionWhy are downloads paused?
If the module archive is downloaded from 4 different addresses within 24 hours, downloads close by themselves — it looks like the key is in the wrong hands. The module keeps working on your sites.
Issue a new key in your account, on the module page, and downloads reopen immediately.
Copy link to this questionWhich DLE and PHP versions is a module compatible with?
It is stated on the module page, in the card on the right: the module version and the supported DLE and PHP versions. The version history with the changes in each release is there too.
Copy link to this questionHow do I find out about a new version?
New versions appear on the module page, under “Version history”, and in your account — where you can download them while the license period is open. Follow our Telegram channel @dlemod as well.
Copy link to this questionHow do I install a module?
The instructions are on the module page, under “Documentation”. If something does not work, contact support. With the Premium plan, we install and configure it for you.
Copy link to this questionOpen source code
Can I modify the module code?
Yes. All modules are supplied with open source code, and you can adapt them to your project's needs.
Copy link to this questionWhy tie a license to sites if the code is open?
The code is open so that you can read it, check it and adapt it to your project: no IonCube, no encrypted inserts. Tying to sites is not a lock on the code but an account of where your license runs. That way a key does not spread to other people’s sites, and misuse is visible at once — to us and to you.
Copy link to this questionWill my changes survive an update?
An update replaces the module files, so changes made in them will have to be applied again. To make that easy, note what you changed, keep customisations in your own files and templates where possible, and back up before updating. Need a customisation that survives updates — order it from us.
Copy link to this questionCan the module be transferred or resold?
No. Resale, transfer to third parties, and public distribution of modules are prohibited. More details — in User Agreement.

Do you provide support?
Yes, support is included in every plan:
- Standard — support 12 months
- Extended — support 12 months
- Premium — support forever
Write to us on Telegram or at info@dlemod.com.
Copy link to this questionHow do I order a customisation or a module for my task?
Click “Order module” in the header and describe the task: what you need, budget, deadline, DLE version. You can attach up to 5 files. Sending needs an account — if you sign up along the way, the draft is kept.
The request appears in your account, under “My requests”: its status, work stages, our price and deadline, and the conversation with us.
Copy link to this questionHow quickly do you reply?
We are available daily from 10:00 to 22:00 (MSK) and reply within 1 business day. The fastest way is Telegram.
Copy link to this questionWhere do I report a bug in a module?
Through the support form or on Telegram. Include the module and its version, the DLE and PHP versions, and describe what happens — that helps us find the cause faster.
