Questions about licenses

All questions →
How many sites can one license be used on?

A license is tied to sites, and a site means the whole domain: a license for site.com also works on www.site.com, shop.site.com, dev.site.com and any other subdomain. Only a different domain takes a slot. How many you can connect depends on the plan:

  • Standard — 3 sites
  • Extended — 10 sites
  • Premium — unlimited number of sites

Local addresses — localhost, domains in the .test and .local zones, internal IPs — don't take a slot at all.

Do I need a separate license for a subdomain?

No. A license covers the whole domain — *.site.com: the main site, www., shop., forum., dev. and any other subdomain run on one license and take one slot. A separate slot is only needed for a different domain, such as site.net.

How is a module tied to a site?

Your first live site connects on its own — the first time the module runs with your key — and we email you right away. Any further sites you add in your account.

If someone tries to use your key on a site that isn't in the license, the module won't work there and a request appears in your account. Press “Not me” — we’ll issue a new key and the old one will stop working.

Can I move a module to another domain?

Yes. Disconnect the old site in your account and add the new one. The freed slot comes back after 24 hours — so a key can't wander between other people's sites. Your plan, terms and other connected sites stay as they are.

What happens when the license period ends?

The module keeps working on your connected sites — how long it runs isn't limited. When the plan period ends, only downloads and new versions close. Updates by plan:

  • Standard — no updates
  • Extended — updates 12 months
  • Premium — updates forever

Time-limited updates can be renewed — for 50% of the current plan price, in advance or within 30 days after the period ends. If you don't renew in time, the plan is bought anew at the current price.

How do I renew updates?

In your account, on the module page — the «Renew» button. Renewal costs 50% of the current plan price and adds one more period of updates and downloads.

You can renew in advance: remaining days are not lost, the new period is added to the end of the current one. We send an email reminder 30, 7 and 1 day before the period ends, and after it ends you can still renew within 30 days.

A plan with lifetime updates needs no renewal. A plan without updates is not renewed — you can upgrade from it to a higher one.
