Knowledge base
Solutions we have tested ourselves on DLE 15.1–21.0: updates and errors, SEO, security, AI.
How the DLEMod knowledge base works
We build modules for DataLife Engine and keep a test site for every DLE version from 15.1 to 21.0, on different PHP versions. Almost everything here we ran into ourselves first: an error after an update, an incompatible plugin, an AI API refusing a request, site mail landing in spam.
Which DLE versions do the articles cover?
We verify fixes on DataLife Engine test sites from 15.1 to 21.0. If a method does not work everywhere, the article says so: which version it works from and what to do on older ones. Every article ends with a “Tested on” line.
Who writes the articles?
The DLEMod team — developers of DLE modules. The material comes from our own work: bugs we fix in modules, tests on our DLE sites, questions from customers and forums.
Are the articles paid?
No, all articles are open and need no sign-up. If we have a module on the topic, a link to it sits in a separate block at the end of the article.
How can I suggest a topic or ask a question?
Write to us via the contacts at the bottom of the site. Questions that come up often get their own article.
