DLE Reputation PRO

DLE Reputation PRO brings user reputation to DataLife Engine: karma, ranks and an author rating. Every user earns karma from the ratings of their posts and comments, climbs the ranks from "Newbie" to "Legend", and the best authors of the week and month make it to the podium. Ranks grant permissions, from "can downvote" to moving into a DLE group that publishes without moderation. Supports DLE 21.0.

Highlights

• Karma from the ratings you already have. One button counts karma from the ratings of every post and comment on the site, so active authors get their ranks in the very first minute.
• Ranks with permissions. Your own name, icon and color; a rank can move users into a DLE group (publishing without moderation, files, private sections) and grant module rights: downvotes, votes per day, vote weight.
• "Top authors". A page with a podium for the week, month and all time, plus an "Authors of the week" block for any place in the template.
• Anti-cheat protection. Votes from new accounts, from the author's IP, vote "trains" for one person and guest votes do not count toward karma; the "Suspicious" section shows pairs and alt accounts, and everything can be voided with one click.
• Best comment and auto-hide. The most upvoted comment appears under the post in the feed; heavily downvoted posts are hidden behind a "Show anyway" button.
• Achievements. 21 badges: for the first post, upvotes, visit streaks, years on the site, the best comment and one secret badge. Badges in the profile, the most prestigious one next to the author's name, a "New achievement" pop-up on the site. Titles, thresholds, icons and colors are set in the admin panel.
• Appearance with or without code. 4 ready styles, a light, dark or "like the site" theme, color, density, badge style, corners, avatars, podium — switches in the admin panel with a live preview. Want to go deeper? Every module block is its own .tpl file in your template, copied with one button.

How it works

The module does not change DLE ratings: users rate with plus, minus, "like" or stars as usual, and DLE Reputation PRO turns every vote into karma for the author. By default a plus on a post gives +2, on a comment +1, stars give from −2 to +2; all of it is adjustable in the settings. Ratings that come in past the usual buttons (edits in the admin panel, other modules) are picked up by a background sync, and a deleted post takes away exactly the karma it brought.

The rank changes on its own, up and down. Users learn about a new rank from a message on the site and, optionally, a private message (in DLE Message PRO, right in their chat). Everything visitors see is output with template tags: the module loads its styles only on pages that have those tags.

Features

Karma

• All four DLE rating types: stars, "like", plus/minus, like/dislike; a category's own rating type is respected.
• Separate plus and minus weights for posts and comments; vote weight by the voter's rank.
• Changing your own vote and deleting content recalculate karma precisely, with no leftovers.
• Karma for the week and month, place in the rating, 30-day history chart.

Ranks

• Five ranks to start with: Newbie, Activist, Author, Master, Legend. Change them, delete them, add your own (even "Private → General").
• Name in four languages, 79 icons to choose from, your own color.
• A DLE group per rank, up and down together with karma; the module never touches admins, moderators or other groups.
• Rank rights: whether downvotes are allowed, how many votes per day, how much heavier the vote is.
• A "New rank" message on the site and a private message from the administration.

On the site

• A "Top authors" page (/karma/, the address is configurable) with a podium, your place and progress to the next rank.
• An "Authors of the week" block with the {kpro-top} tag: in the header, sidebar or footer.
• Rank badge next to the author of a post and comment, karma card in the profile and profile popup, rank in the user menu.
• "Best comment" in the feed and a label in the discussion; auto-hide for posts rated below a threshold.
• An "Appearance" page: style (thin lines, cards with shadow, soft tiles, bold), theme, density, accent color, badge (icon, name, karma), corners, avatars, podium, where the rank message appears — with a live preview.
• Every block is its own .tpl file: badge, card, rating page, podium, "Authors of the week", best comment and more; module updates never touch your files.

Protection and control

• Votes from guests, new accounts, users with low karma, from the author's IP and above the daily limit for one author do not count toward karma, while the DLE rating stays.
• A votes-per-minute limit and no downvotes with negative karma.
• "Suspicious": pairs that upvote only each other, votes from several accounts on one IP, a sudden spike within an hour — voided with one click.
• A log of every change with filters, manual karma changes with a reason, reset.

Admin panel

• Overview, Users, Ranks, Log, Suspicious, Settings — on native DLE screens, in Russian, English, Ukrainian and Spanish.
• No extra load: karma is stored ready-made, ratings are cached; on a page with a dozen posts the module adds only a few queries.
