DLE ЧПУ+ makes the addresses of a DataLife Engine site look the way people and search engines want them: /movies/matrix/ instead of /movies/338-matrix.html, /tags/drama/ instead of /tags/%D0%B4%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BC%D0%B0/. Old addresses are not lost — the module redirects them to the new ones. DLE 21.0 support.

Highlights

Features

News addresses

  • Without ID: /category/news-name/, /category/news-name.html, /news-name/, /news-name.html.
  • With ID: /category/123/, /category/123/news-name/, /123/news-name/ and DLE's own three schemes — they work even without the module.
  • A preview on your latest news: “Now” and “Will be” columns and a list of what is worth fixing before the switch.
  • News pages, comment pages and the print version follow the same scheme.
  • News names stay unique: a new news item with a taken name gets -2, -3….
  • The module tells a news item from a category, a static page and DLE service addresses.

Tags and extra fields

  • Latin tag addresses: /tags/drama/.
  • Latin addresses for extra field values DLE builds search links for: /xfsearch/actor/tom-hanks/.
  • A short field address without /xfsearch/: /actor/tom-hanks/.
  • An address is created by itself the first time a tag is shown; a button creates them for all at once.

No traffic lost

  • 301 from every former address form: DLE types 1, 2, 3, module schemes and your old rules.
  • 301 after a news rename and from old encoded tag and field addresses.
  • Canonical address: no trailing slash, a wrong category, page-1 — all lead to one address.

Check

  • Empty and duplicate news names, matches with categories, static pages and service addresses.
  • Digit-only categories in ID schemes, order and errors of DLE's Friendly URL rules.
  • A fix button — up to 500 records at a time.

DLE 15.1–18.1

  • Types 4, 5 and 6 in DLE settings: /category/id/, /category/id/news-name/, /id/news-name/.
  • Addresses open without .htaccess edits; the sitemap uses the same form.

Speed

  • No extra queries on regular pages: tag and field addresses come from a ready file; the site answers as fast with the module as without it.
