AI Related Movies is a DataLife Engine module that builds a list of genuinely similar films using artificial intelligence.

How it works in practice

Say you have added Inception to your site. Standard search methods would suggest titles with similar words in the name or the description. The module, powered by GPT, analyses the meaning instead and picks films that are truly close in spirit. Your visitors will see recommendations such as Interstellar, The Prestige, The Matrix or Shutter Island.

If GPT suggests a film that is not on your site, it is dropped from the list automatically. Only items that actually exist in your collection make it into the results.

Examples

The result

All recommendations are saved to the standard DLE field “Related news IDs”. They work out of the box in the “Related films” block and give visitors relevant suggestions.

How to run it

There are three ways to run the module:

Enter a range of film IDs (for example 1–1000) and start generation manually.
Start bulk generation for the entire catalogue.
Set up automatic generation on CRON so it runs without an administrator.
